Coming off a win from Portland Predators (4-5), the San Diego Jack Rabbits continued their winning streak. In this Week 8 match-up, Quarterback, Derek Carr went 7-21 and had 244 passing yards. Wide receivers, Julian Edelman and Odell Beckham combined for 44.3 points, but Odell Beckham solidified the Jack Rabbits’ victory with his 136 receiving yards Sunday night. Running back, Joe Mixon was the game changer with 123 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns and 15 receiving yards adding 29.80 points. San Diego finished 165.96-116.72 and is now 5-3, at 7th place in the league.

- The Jack Rabbits will need to decide on a quarterback since Mariota had a bye week. So far, Marcus Mariota with 237 passing yards resulting in 31.28 points in Week 7 has been consistent every week while Derek Carr has been contributing constantly with 244 passing yards resulting in 41.76 points
- The Jack Rabbits’ defense will need to decide on how to handle offense without running back Joe Mixon this week
- This game could push the Jack Rabbits into the playoffs while Oklahoma City Lightning holds their place in first place.
