Game Recap

The Honolulu Hammerheads added a second game to their winning streak, as they defeated the Portland Predators 133.84 to 103.74. Led behind a surprising 30 point explosion by QB Brock Osweiler, the Hammerheads move to 6-1 and 3rd overall in the SCOM Fantasy Classic. Osweiler was 22/31, throwing for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns, while QB Jared Goff was 18/24 for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns, scoring 27.48 points for the team. WR Adam Thielen posted the 3rd highest team score with 27, catching 9 balls for 110 yards and a touchdown. This marked Thielen’s 7th straight game with 100+ receiving yards.

The Predators tried to make it a close one, as WR Jarvis Landry, TE Zach Ertz, and their defense all scored over 20 points. This however was offset by a scoreless day for WR Randal Cobb, and a lowly 2 point performance by rookie QB Sam Darnold. With only Calvin Ridley to play on Monday night, Portland could not come back, and fall to 4-3, 7th overall.

Next week, the Hammerheads will face off against the tough Oklahoma City Lightning, who also stand at 6-1.
