Honey Badgers Look To Keep Moving Up Week #11 Game Note #2

Game Recaps

Last weeks game was a close one between the Honey Badgers and Madison Moose who the Honey Badgers had previously lost to on week 3. The Honey Badgers ended up winning by 11 points and have now moved to 6th in the league. Ezekiel Elliott has ultimately been suspended and will no longer be playing for the Honey Badgers for the remainder of the season. The game was a close one and it ultimately came down to Christian McCaffery the rookie running back from Stanford winning it for the Honey Badgers with two touchdowns. Honey Badgers’ star wide receiver, Jarvis Landry, also helped secure the Honey Badger’s win with one touchdown. Alvin Kamara also scored a touchdown last week and had over 100 rushing yards plus over 30 passing yards. The Honey Badgers have McCaffery, Kamara, and Landry to thank for pushing the team to 6th in the league instead of last place and claim a victory against Fresno after their loss to them on week 4.

Matchup Preview

  • In week 11 Honey Badgers are looking to make this a two game winning streak against the Fresno Fuegos. The Honey Badgers jumped from 7th to 6th place surpassing the Fuegos last week and hope to keep it that way.
  • Ezekiel Elliott is suspended for the rest of the season.
  • Gronk’s absence did not help the Honey Badgers, but he will be back next week to hopefully bring home another win for the team.
  • Honolulu’s running back, Christian McCaffery will be absent during week 11 due to a bye.
  • Alvin Kamara is a great asset for the Honey Badgers. Even though he is a back up, he is projected more points than over half of the starting running backs. Since we lost Elliot, and McCaffery has a bye, he is necessary for the Honey Badgers to do well against the Fuegos.
  • Honey Badger’s are preparing for face off with five-time super bowl champion, Tom Brady this week; he is projected 19.05 points.
  • Running back Melvin Gordon is this week’s biggest asset for the Honey Badgers with 19.82 points projected.
