Game Recap

The Chattanooga Chickadees picked up their first win of the season this Sunday, recording a season-high 148.66 points against the Madison Moose. The most dominate mismatch took place in the first running back position where Lamar Miller accounted for 75 yards rushing, 56 yards receiving, and two touchdowns (one through the air and one on the ground) accounting for 29 points. Miller cast a large shadow against his Moose counterpart, who was generated less than one point for Madison. Jameis Winston continues to improve and has put up back-to-back 30+ point games. This week Winston accumulated 332 yards and three touchdowns on 22 completions. Another staple of the Chickadee offense, Leonard Fournette, put up season-high numbers, rushing for 86 yards and tacking on 59 more through the air topped off with an appearance in the end zone. Sammy Watkins underperformed this week, coming off of a 29-point game the week before, the defense was prepared for him as a weapon and held Watkins to only 17 yards receiving.
