Another Win for the Las Vegas Spades – Week 3 Game Note

Game Recaps

The Las Vegas Spades took another victory this week. Beating the Chattanooga Chickadees 132.10 to 116.76. Throughout the week the Spades were consistently beating the Chickadees in points. Drew Brees led the Spades to victory yet again, scoring a significant, 36.80 points, and his best week so far this season. Another standout on from the Spades this week was running back Todd Gurley who scored 37.90 points, making him the biggest point earner for the Spades this week. Gurley along with Antonio Brown both earned a bonus point for the Spades with 100-199 rushing yard bonus each. Brees also earned a bonus point for the Spades with a 40+ yard passing TD.

 

Matchup Preview

  • The week the Las Vegas Spades will play the Virginia Beach Neptunes, with a project win for the Spades of 136. 12 points to 134.60 points, it seems that this may be a close game.
  • Spades QB Drew Brees is only projected to earn 19.23 points for the Spades this week, while Neptunes QB Aaron Rodgers is projected to earn 22.22 points, however based on previous games both Brees and Rodgers have been earning points in the mid thirties.
  • The addition of Kicker Dan Bailey is projected to earn 7.67 points for the Spades
  • This week WR Damaryious Thomas is set to go against number one ranked WR Stefon Diggs
  • Spades WR Antonio Brown ranked number 2 goes head to head with Neptune’s number 4 ranked WR Tyreek Hill making this a tough week for both players.

 

Las Vegas Spades Season Notes

  • The Spades have dropped Oakland Raiders DEF, Kicker Mason Crosby, WR Copper Kupp, RB Kerwynn Williams and Los Angeles Rams DEF
  • The Spades added Kicker Dan Bailey, RB Derrick Henry, RB Isaiah Crowell and Cincinnati Bengals DEF.
  • This past weekend and into early this week the NFL has been making headlines as players, following the initiative started by Colin Kaepernick in 2016, have knelt during the national anthem in protest of racial inequality, which have elicited both support for the protest and outrage against it with President Donald Trump taking to twitter to voice his opinion on the subject.

  • RB Derek Henry joined his team the Tennessee Titans in the locker room during this week’s anthem, in a game against the Seattle Seahawks who also stayed in the locker room during the anthem.
  • WR Antonio Brown stayed off the field with his team the Pittsburgh Stealers in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, who all stood linking arms for the anthem with RB Tarik Cohen joining his team.
  • RB Todd Gurley named NFC offensive player of the month.
