Bears Defense Scores Big for Rattlers

ALBUQUERQUE, NM-  The Bears’ defense brings big points for Albuquerque with no less than 24 points in the last two games, with 28 points in their most recent contest. The Rattlers (2-3) gain their second win in a row, beating out the Honolulu Seasiders (2-3) by 12.84 points in the week five match up.

The Bears held the opposition to just three points on Sunday and returning two interceptions for scores, giving the Rattlers the top ranked defense in the NFL. Quarterback Aaron Rogers and the defense have proved to be the top scorers for the franchise. The Rattlers have risen to the ninth position in the league.

“Our defense has been absolutely crucial to this team by putting up necessary points for the last two wins. We are confident they will be one of our biggest assets for the remainder of the season,” said head coach John Smith.

With a BYE week during week six, the Rattlers will be forced to start the Atlanta Falcons’ defense in the game against the San Antonio Defenders (3-2). The matchup with begin Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
