Michael Floyd Awakens as the Rams Edge Out the Bees

LOS ANGELES, Ca (November 18, 2014) – After slumping for most of the season, wide receiver Michael Floyd woke up and contributed in a big way for the Rams, helping LA to edge out the Harrisonburg Valley Bees 110.26-100.62. Michael Floyd caught 2 of 5 targets for 54 yards, however both of these catches went for touchdowns. This proved to be the difference for the Rams, as they managed to hold off the Bees.

On Michael Floyd’s performance, team captain Peyton Manning said, “Floyd has been working hard all season getting his game together. It’s good to see his work pay off.”

The Rams also received a stellar performance from running back Jeremy Hill, who ran for 157 yards on 27 carries. Despite a late surge from the Bees and their TE, Rob Gronkowski, the Rams were able to maintain their lead from start to finish.

With the win, the Rams moved into a four-way tie for third with three games left to play. The Rams will take on one of those teams tied for third, the Daytona Dingleberries, next week. Additionally, Josh Gordon will return this week for the Rams. The number 1 wide receiver in 2013, Gordon was suspended through week 11 this season due to a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

The Los Angeles Rams is a football organization within the National Football League. Formed in 2013, the LA Rams strive to create a positive environment for fans, players, and opponents on and off the field while ensuring the integrity of the game.
