LOS ANGELES, Ca (Oct. 28, 2014)– It was tough week for the LA Rams, as they fell to the Columbia Kings 115.82-88.14. The Columbia Kings are the number one team in the league and the Rams held them off for most of the game before the loss. Quarterback and team captain, Peyton Manning, threw for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns. RB Ronnie Hilman also made an impact in his this week as he rushed for 109 yards and received for 29 yards.
“This was a tough but hard fought loss for our team, but we plan to come out bigger and better next week against the Tuscaloosa Top Guns.” said Rams head coach John Harbaugh after the game.
Adding to the running game was RB Andre Ellington who rushed for 71 yards, received for 14 yards and scored one touchdown. Despite these stellar performances, the Los Angeles Rams just could not stop the Columbia Tigers who countered with QB Aaron Rogers and WR Brandin Cooks. The two combined for 537 yards and 3 touchdowns.
With the loss, the Rams become 4-4 and drop to 6th in the league. They have what should be a thrilling and close match ahead of them next week against the 4-4 Tusculosa Top Guns.
