Rams Lose Nail-Biter to Egrets

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (Oct.14, 2014) – Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Rams lost to the East Coast Egrets 88.20 to 84.18. Egrets’ running back, Ben Tate, had a season-high 25 carries for 78 yards, which proved to be the difference maker in the game.

“We’re looking for solutions, not excuses. As a team we showed progress in some areas, and showed room for in improvement in others,” said Rams head coach, John Harbaugh.

The Rams’ offense produced good numbers in the air with quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning had a solid game of 237 yards and 3 touchdowns, but his performance was not enough to hold off the Egrets and their dangerous run game.

The Rams saw a promising performance from second year wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, who is averaging 2 catches for 17.5 yards per game. He has the potential to be the Rams’ most explosive weapon due to his speed.

This week 6 loss ends the Rams’ two game winning streak. The team record is 3-3, making the Rams fifth in the league.

The Los Angeles Rams is a football organization within the National Football League. Formed in 2013, the LA Rams strive to create a positive environment for fans, players, and opponents on and off the field while ensuring the integrity of the game.
