Toros Enter Four-Way Fight for First

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 5, 2013) The San Antonio Toros narrowly pulled off a win this week beating the Austin Aardvarks by 2o points. This Week 9 victory bring the Toros to 6-3 heading into the second half of the season. This puts the Toros in a four-team tie for first place with the Honolulu Pineapples, the Oklahoma City Pioneers, and the Las Vegas High Rollers.

Aardvarks wide receiver, Andre Johnson, nearly led the last place team to an upset victory coming up with nine catches for 229 yards and three touchdowns. In the end the Toros secured the win as Eddie Lacy rushed for a career high 150 yards and a touchdown on Monday Night against the Chicago Bears.  The Toros lead the league in rush yards this week compelling 336 yards and three touchdowns as a team.

The Toros now enter the second half of their schedule where they will play two of the teams they they are tied for first with, the Las Vegas High Rollers (Week 10) and the Honolulu Pineapples (Week 12). With only four teams making the playoffs in the SCOM Fantasy Classic League, the Toros look to fight to maintain their top for standing.
