Bell Joins Toros

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (October 7, 2013) – The San Antonio Toros signed rookie running back, Le’Veon Bell. Bell, the rookie out of Michigan State, made his NFL debut in London against the Vikings in Week Four. He carried the ball 16 times for 57 yards and two touchdowns.

Bell will become the fourth running back on the roster joining starters Adrian Peterson and Frank Gore, along with fellow rookie, Eddie Lacy. Bell is returning from a mid-foot sprain suffered in the second preseason game of the year. This week was a bye week for Bell, giving him extra time to heal up his foot.

General Manager, Logan Caldwell, said “We are very excited to have Le’Veon here. He is a great talent and a hard worker that will give us a lot of depth in the running back spot.”

Founded in 2013, the Toros are one of the newest additions to the NFL. To learn more about the Toros visit SAToros.com. For professional inquiries please contact the general mangers office at (540) 521-9872 or PressServices@SAToros.com.
