It was another amazing week for the Columbus Commanders after a much-needed win against the Alaskan Bull Worms, with a final score of 107.6 to 94.34. This victory improves the Commanders’ record to 3 wins and 4 losses, meaning they are now up to 8th place. The Commanders continue to prove their strengths, with this being their second winning streak in a row.
Running Back Javonte Williams was the star of the night. He leads the team with 26.10 points from his impressive performance of 88 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Williams has become a crowd favorite due to his consistency throughout the past couple of games.
Another great player who needs recognition is Kyler Murray, who added 20.20 points, 22 completed passes, and one touchdown! Tight end Mark Andrews contributed a lot to the game by scoring 20.10 points, making two touchdowns, and having 41 receiving yards, making him stand out.
For the Alaskan Bull Worms, their quarterback Lamar Jackson had an excellent performance with 34.44 points, while other players like Alvin Kamara and Austen Ekeler didn’t meet the team’s expectations, which led to hurting the Bull Worms overall score and causing them to lose.
Next week the Columbus Commanders face the Las Vegas Vipers. The Commanders are hoping to keep their streak by winning their third game in a row. Stay tuned for more updates on next week’s game to see the Commanders play an intense game against one of their rivals.
