CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Chubb Club came up just short in Week 9, losing 116.00 to 113.84 to the Harrisonburg Hornets. Despite a valiant effort from key players, the Chubb Club couldn’t overcome late-game challenges, leaving them with a 3-6-0 record and continuing their current losing streak at one. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the charge, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. His stellar performance earned him 24.54 points, keeping his team in striking distance. However, the Chubb Club’s running backs didn’t contribute as much as expected.Zack Moss, filling in at RB for the injured player, had no points this week after being inactive, and Rachaad White was limited to just 12.50 points, despite rushing for 19 yards and adding 16 receiving yards. White’s efforts weren’t enough to overcome Cleveland’s loss loss to The Hornets

Clevelands Wide receivers Terry McLaurin and CeeDee Lamb showed strong performances, each playing a critical role. McLaurin grabbed two key touchdowns finishing with 15.90 fantasy points. Meanwhile, Lamb posted 16.20 points catching 8 passes for 47 yards. Unfortunately, Christian Watson contributed just 8.70 points. At tight end, Travis Kelce put up one of the standout performances of the week, hauling in 14 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Kelce’s 22.00 fantasy points kept the Chubb Club in the game, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Hornets’ lead. On the bench, Tua Tagovailoa delivered a respectable 17.54 fantasy points for Cleveland, throwing for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Gesicki also had a strong performance, scoring 27.00 points, catching five passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns. However, both players were on the bench during the game and couldn’t contribute to the team’s overall score. Tyler Bass, the Chubb Club’s kicker, scored 12.00 points hitting two field goals from over 40 yards. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs’ defense also posted solid numbers, recording two sacks and allowing just 24 points contributing 2.00 fantasy points.

Despite individual performances from Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and CeeDee Lamb, the Cleveland Chubb Club couldn’t overcome a slow start and scattered performances across the board. The Cleveland Chubb Club will look to bounce back in Week 10 as they prepare for a critical division matchup. They’ll need a full team effort to snap their losing streak and get back into playoff contention.
