Boston, MA – Boston Fourth Quarter suffers yet another crushing loss, securing their spot in last position for another week. The Harrisonburg Hornets beat Boston Fourth Quarter 122.00 to 87.76 in week 8. This will be Boston’s fifth consecutive loss and fifth week remaining in last place.
Boston had a few good things going for them this week, but none of them compared to Harrisonburg’s performance.
D’Andre Swift led Boston’s starters with the highest number of points, coming in at 18.90 with 129 rushing yards and one TD. Compared to Harrisonburg, their highest scorer was James Cook with 28.30, a nearly 10 point difference.
Boston’s quarterback Daniel Jones only managed 6.66 points and he had a fumble. Zach Ertz was Boston’s second highest scoring starter with only 14.70 points.
Running back Zach Charbonnet scored 11.40 points, which was unfortunately the only other notable score. Boston’s defense did score higher than Harrisonburg’s. Unfortunately, none of this was enough to beat the Hornets.
Boston Fourth Quarter has had a tough season. Looking ahead to week 9’s game, Boston faces the Oklahoma City Twisters, who currently rank first in the leaderboard. This does not serve as a good outcome for Boston when the team has suffered some serious defeats to morale and their physical standings.
Hopefully, Boston will finish out the season strong and we will see some better performances from starters who have been underperforming. There is still hope for Boston to make some good plays and turn things around.
