Boston, MA – The Boston Fourth Quarter came up short in their Week 6 matchup against the Alaskan Bull Worms, who improved to 4-2. Boston managed to score 99.70 points, falling 9.12 points behind the Bull Worms’ 108.82, sealing the win for Alaska.
After making his first start of the season, QB Daniel Jones said that the game was “very disappointing – [they] just couldn’t sustain drives, execute, get into a rhythm and frustrating – I feel like we’ve taken steps and progressed as an offense. Obviously, we didn’t do that today, so we’ll get a look at what we need to do better and clean it up”.
Jones threw for 205 yards, and added 56 rushing yards, but also surrendered an interception in his debut against the Bull Worms totaling 11.80 fantasy points.
Alaskan Bull Worms wide receiver Romeo Doubs delivered a standout performance, leading the team with 3 receptions for 49 yards and 2 touchdowns, contributing 19.90 fantasy points to the victory. However, Boston’s top wide receiver, Wan’Dale Robinson, was no match finishing with 5 receptions for 50 yards and just 10.00 fantasy points.
The MVP of the matchup came from Boston’s star running back, D’Andre Swift. Swift dominated the stat sheet with 91 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 4 receptions for 28 yards, racking up an impressive 21.9 fantasy points.
As the Boston Fourth Quarter enters Week 7 with a 1-5 record, they are eager to correct their mistakes and secure their second win. The team has high hopes for Swift and Jones to lift the offensive morale and lead the charge to victory.
