Boston, MA. – The Boston Fourth Quarter fell to a record of 1-4 after losing by a score of 88.06 to 111.44. The Boston Fourth Quarter continued to underperform as only one starter was able to put up 20 points, that player being D’Andre Swift. Swift made it into a starting role this week after having a very strong performance the week prior. Swift tallied 73 yards and a touchdown as the bears steam rolled Carolina. Boston Fourth Quarter’s Quarterback Brock Purdy continued his mediocracy this week while putting up 13.06 points. Purdy’s starting position looks to be in the hot seat after Daniel Jones on the bench had a great week scoring a total of 22.08 points.
With Sam LaPorta being on the bye, Zach Ertz got that starting spot at TE and put up an upsetting 3 points. The Boston Fourth Quarter has really struggled this season at the TE position as LaPorta has underperformed and Ertz couldn’t get the job done on Friday. LaPorta coming off the bye should be fully rested and due for a big game this upcoming Sunday. Justin Jefferson had a solid performance of 15.20 points coming from 92 yards off of 6 receptions.
“We as a team have been off our game these past 2 weeks. We know what this team is capable of, we just need to go out there and execute,” said Justin Jefferson after the game.
This is the second week straight that Boston has suffered a loss. It is important the team gets back in the win column next week with key players having to step up.
The Boston Fourth Quarter with a record of 1-4 sits in second to last place in Division 2. Next week The Boston fourth Quarter goes to Alaska to face the Bull Worms (3-2) in what is a must win game.
