ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Crocodiles were beaten handily by the Mexico City Manatees 181.62 to 79.52. The 101.64-point spread was the highest recorded margin of victory in the league so far this season. Quarterback Josh Allen had his worst game so far this season putting up only 18.62 points off of 218 passing yards with 2 interceptions. Before the bye week, Josh Allen was averaging well over 40 points with his second lowest being a 24.52 point performance against in a 154.16 – 123.32 loss to the Boise Spuds on Monday, October 3rd.

“Obviously that game did not go the way we had hoped,” said Josh Allen in a post game interview. “They were firing on all levels while we struggled to get into a consistent rhythm on offense. We’ll have to evaluate our offense and identify the issues we need fixed.”

Leonard Fournette and Chris Godwin provided solid backup for Josh Allen with 14.80 and 13,50 points respectively. However, lackluster games from George Pickens, Devonta Smith, Kenneth Gainwell, and the defense led to the defeat.

Taylor Heinicke was the leading scorer for the Mexico City Manatees with 37.06 points off of 279 passing yards, one passing touchdown and 29 rushing yards with a rushing touchdown. Four players from the Manatees scored over 20 points while none from the Crocodiles were able to reach that amount.

Next up for the Crocodiles at are the first place St. Louis Bison who got back on track after suffering their first loss of the season last week. The game will be at home for the Crocodiles at Camping World Stadium.
