The Bisons See Their First Loss of the Season in Week 7

ST. LOUIS, MO. -The Honolulu Hammerheads faced the St. Louis Bison in the nail biting week seven matchup at Busch Stadium, beating them 123.82-112.36. The Honolulu Hammerheads scored 14.5% more than their projected 108.14 points to secure the win.

The Bison had a strong performance by running back http://Breece Hall who rushed 72 yards, ran in one TD totaling 16.20 points. http://Eno Benjamin also had a great game rushing 92 yards, ran in one TD and received for 21 yards racking up 23.30 points. 

The Bison’s offense had strong execution but it was matched by Honolulu. The Hammerheads’ Terry McLaurin totaled one TD and caught 5 passes for 73 yards. Running back http://Dameon Pierc ran 93 yards and caught 4 passes for 25 yards. http://Terry McLaurin

In the post game press conference, Head coach Tim English realized that the contest was out of their control. 

“There was not much we could have done differently. We prepared as much as we could have and executed our plays well. It was a tough first loss for us but we are confident we are gonna come back strong next week.” 

The loss brought the Bisons’ record to 6-1. 

The Bison will play at home next week and will look to face the Oklahoma City Oxen at Busch Stadium.
