TORONTO – Down by 69.36 points before Monday night’s game, it was unlikely that the Crabs could come back and secure a win for the week. Thus, the week ended in a loss for them against the undefeated SnowTigers, 124.26 – 76.66.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford still made an effort, helping the Crabs secure 21.76 points with 254 passing yards, one interception and six rushing yards. Running back J.K. Dobbins picked up 22.3 points for the team combined from rushing and receiving yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Gabe Davis underperformed and only earned 2.3 points each for the Crabs.

In a postgame press conference, head coach Bill Moore discussed his disappointment with the Crabs’s performance and how they can improve.

“I know we have more to show than this,” Moore said. “Coming off a win last week might have gotten to our heads but if we continue this teamwork, we’ll show the league what we’re really made of.”

On the other hand, the SnowTigers star players included quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Austin Ekeler. Together, they drew in a combined 55.86 points for the SnowTigers. Those numbers alone boosted their lead over the Crabs and brought them to victory.

Next week, the Crabs (1-3) head home to Boeing Stadium and will face the Mexico City Manatees in Week 5. The SnowTigers (4-0) will stay at home to battle the Oklahoma City Oxen, hoping to continue they’re winning record.
