ST. LOUIS – The Mexico City Manatees take their first loss of the season to the St. Louis Bison after losing 158.06-102.10.
The Manatees ran out of steam which allowed the Bison to take a huge lead at the end of the matchup. First round pick, RB, Dalvin Cook really underperformed with only 17 rush yards and 19 receiving yards. With his skillset he should bounce back and perform better next week.
The Bison’s WR, Stefon Diggs, absolutely torched the Manatees. He took over at the end of the game with 148 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. He was the reason the Bison pulled away and secured the victory.
Defensive Coordinator Jack Rowe emphasized the impact of the wide receivers performance after the game.
“That was unacceptable, we definitely need to make adjustments on Defense. This is the second week in a row a wide receiver had a big game. We’ll look at the film and go in with a different look next week.”
The Toronto Mounties will be hosting the Mexico City Manatees next weekend which is expected to be an exciting matchup.
