- LOUIS – The Saint Louis Bison defeated the Charleston Crabs 140.5 to 101.8 in its first game of the season Sunday.
While projected to lose the match initially (111.51 to 108.54), players on the bison exceeded far beyond expectations to deliver a well-played match.
“We showed a lot of heart, it was a lot of pressure being projected to lose,” said Myers, “but we didn’t pay any attention to that we just focused on what we do best, and won by a landslide”
Bison’s wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Davantae Adams balled out this weekend as both had over a hundred receiving yards and each recorded a touchdown. “WR Diggs and WR Adams look to keep carrying the Bison this season as they are poised for another great year.” Said Coach Smith
In Week 2, the St Louis Bison play host to the visiting Mexico City Manatees. Both teams come into this week’s contest at 1-0 on the current season. The Bison look to have another stellar week from the two star starting wideouts, and would love another lights-out performance by their top-ranked defense. The Manatees come into this game hoping to ride the arm of red hot QB Patrick Mahomes as he currently leads the NFL in majority of the pasing categories. Early week projections have the Bison as slight favorites to edge out the visitors 110 to 102.
