ORLANDO, Fla. — Quarterback Josh Allen played better than he was projected, which led the Crocodiles to win their first game against the Salt Lake City Seagulls (122.98 – 99.46).
QB Allen threw for 26 completions and 297 yards and put the team on his back by scoring 4 touchdowns – he ran for one and threw three. He brought in 55.48 points for fantasy, which is almost twice as much as he was projected to bring in on the first game.
“I am so proud that my hard work has paid off, I can only hope that I continue this pattern the rest of this season. I am happy to finally be back, ” said Allen when asked about his recent accomplishment.
Running back Leonard Fournette brought in 16.7 points as well. Fournette rushed 127 yards in the first game of the season. RB2 Damien Harris helped out with the Crocs win ending this week’s game with 7.8 points.
The game could have ended a lot differently had the Salt Lake City Seagulls swapped their QB from Dak Prescott to Kirk Cousins. Greg Joseph brought in 13 points for the Salt Lake City Seagulls, being the third-highest score of any tight end in the first week.
In week 2, the Orlando Crocodiles take on the Toronto Snow Tigers. The Snow Tigers are projected to win 110.36 over the Crocodiles with 107.59.
