PHOENIX – 126.26-158.88, after a three week winning streak, the Phoenix Flames met their match losing against the Orlando Hurricanes.

The Flames put up a good fight with quarterback Aaron Rodgers (35.76) and wide receiver Diontae Johnson (18.20) scoring the team the most points. On the opposing team, the Hurricanes QB Russell Wilson only earned 15.08 points. But things turned around for the Hurricanes when Ja’Marr Chase earned his team 159 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown (31.90), scoring many points for his team in the game.

“Overall we played a good game,” said Flames’ head coach Marshall Smith. “Unfortunately the Orlando Hurricanes just played it better.”

Some Phoenix Flames’ players, such as tight end C.J. Uzomah struggled to get yardage. On the opposite side, the Hurricanes displayed a strong performance with many players, especially running back Alvin Kamara. Kamara earned his team most overall points (32.10) with 71 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, 51 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.

The Phoenix Flames (3-2) are playing the Salt Lake City Cougars (0-5) next week at the Coca Cola Stadium.
