SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Sealions cannot seem to get the momentum together this season. Falling short to the Knoxville Knighthawks in a score of 138.62 – 102.78, the Sealions are now (1-3) this season.

Knoxville Quarterback, Josh Allen totaled 248 Passing Yds. in addition to 2 Pass TD. Justin Herbert, QB of the Sealions could not match up in stats with 222 Passing Yds.

Brendan Dean, Knoxville head coach, is looking for another win next week against the Long Beach Sharks.

He stated “If we can play any game like the one we did today, I have no doubt in my mind my boys will be at the top of the ranking. We had a few games to shake off the mistakes and now we’re ready to continue the winning streak.”

Chris Godwin, wide receiver for the Sealions caught 3 of 5 targets for 55 yards in Sunday’s game. Unfortunately, this was not enough for the Sealions. Knoxvilles running back, Saquon Barkley had 74 receiving yards, and WR Darnell Mooney had 125.

On CBS Sunday at 1:00 p.m. the Sealions will be heading to Hawaii, to take on the Honolulu Chameleons (3-1).
