Week 4 Game Note – Phoenix Flames Shut Down Harrisonburg Blue Streaks in Week 4

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Flames (3-1) secure another win after a dominant performance against the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (2-2), 137.02-107.52. 

Strong performances from wide receiver Terry McLaurin and quarterback Aaron Rodgers pushed the Flames to one of their biggest victories this season. McLaurin was one of the highest point earners of the game with 123 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns (31.30). Additionally, Rodgers had another solid game with 248 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, two rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown (28.12). 

“I’m proud of my team. I still think we have plenty of room for growth, but I’m pleased with their performance,” said head coach Marshall Smith after the game. 

While the game was in the Flames’ favor, the Blue Streaks’ QB Kyler Murray displayed the strongest performance of the night. Murray threw 268 yards for two passing touchdowns and ran 39 yards (39.62). 

The Flames’ win brings their season record to 3-1, moving them to fifth place in the league. 

Next week, the Phoenix Flames will face the Orlando Hurricanes (3-1) at the Walt Disney Arena in Orlando, Fla. (FL).
