LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Sharks suffered a huge loss this last weekend after playing the Orange Alligators in their third game of the season. The final score was 171.18 to 148.32, with the Alligators taking the win home.

The Sharks fought the hardest they could but still fell behind the Alligators. The Sharks wide receiver, Mike Williams, carried the team in most points. Williams gained a total of 34.20 points for the night.

Williams had a record of 102 receiving yards when playing the Orange Alligators. The QB, Dak Prescott, had an amazing 238 passing yards the same night. Prescott brought in the second largest leading points with 34.12.

The opposing team, the Orange Alligators, are undefeated with a record 3-0. Their QB, Tom Brady, brought in 432 passing yards with 56.68 total points by the end of the night.

News reporters caught up with the head coach of the Sharks, Kieran Sullivan, after the game and he had a lot to say about their second loss of the season.

“We got our hopes up after the first game of the season, and I think it got to our head too much. We now need to put in more work than ever before.”

Later after the game, Prescott made a comment that he believed “there was a lot of work that needs to be done” in order for the Sharks to better their record.

Although the Sharks faced their second loss of the season, they gained more points in this game than any other game they’ve played so far. The teammates believed they can drastically improve in order to win.

The Long Beach Sharks face the Harrisonburg Valley Bees this upcoming week, who are also 1-2. This is bound to be quite a face-off.
