ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Hurricanes improve on a perfect start to the season as they best the Salt Lake City Cougars in a sizable week 3 victory of 142.12 to 120.02.

Star wide receiver Cooper Kupp came alive Sunday as he boasted a team high 36.30 fantasy points by totaling 9 catches for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns against an injured Tampa Bay secondary.  Always reliable quarterback Russel Wilson continues a fantastic start to the season putting up 30.62 fantasy points having 298 yards through the air on 23 completions with one touchdown despite losing a tough game against a usually exploitable Minnesota defense.

The Cougars put up a fight early as quarterback Kirk Cousins had a career game earning himself 47.12 fantasy points by throwing for 323 yards and three touchdowns against a struggling Seattle defensive unit. Calvin Ridley was their next top contributor having himself 14.10 fantasy points against a talented Giants secondary who held him to a mediocre game of 9 grabs for only 61 yards.

Head Coach of the Hurricanes starting defense Bill Belicheck had this to say in a post conference after a disappointing outing from the unit which caused him to mix in a variety of young players over proven veterans.  “Well, we’ve been rotating our players defensively throughout the whole year, and I feel like that’s the best way to manage the situation. He added that there was “a number of reasons” for benching former pro bowl linebacker Dont’a Hightower.

This win improved the Hurricanes record to 3-0 heading into their fourth match next week.

In week 4 the Hurricanes face off with Charleston Cadets in a home matchup that kickoffs at 1 p.m. EST in the Walt Disney Arena.
