The Honolulu Riptides took a 22.4 point lead over the Salt Lake City River Otters, resulting in a 117.80 to 95.38 score.
Ryan Tannehill performed strongly for the River Otters, completing 18 passes, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, scoring 30.48 points for the team. Mike Evans also executed a few impressive plays, recording 8 receptions on 10 targets for 106 yards.
Patrick Mahomes edged past Ryan Tannehill, scoring 32.90 points for the Riptides. He completed 27 passes with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. DK Metcalf was another strong addition to the Riptide’s offense, leading the team in catches, yards and targets.
The loss brought the River Otter’s record down 0-2. They have another chance next week in their matchup against the Orange Alegators.
