Oklahoma City. Okla. – The Oklahoma City Buffalo lost to the San Antonio Generals this week by 24.84 points after leaving Corey Davis on their bench who managed to have another huge day by putting up 27.80 points. The Buffalo left their flex spot open after forgetting to put some one in which ended up costing them the game.
Aaron Rodgers continued his big year as he put up 34.54 fantasy points by going 27/41 through the air while also tossing 3 touchdowns. Allen Robinson also had a big day putting up 20.70 fantasy points because of his 6 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. However, the story of the day fantasy point wise for the Buffalo was Corey Davis as he put up 27.80 points thanks to his 8 reception,128 yard day with a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams both had big days as they put up a combined 58.74 fantasy points. Davante Adams was very efficient in the red zone for the Generals as he caught 3 touchdown passes. Teddy Bridgewater and Jamal Williams also got in on the offensive frenzy by putting up 19.04 and 18.20 respectively.
In the press conference after the game, Head Coach Ella Ferrin explained what happened on the managing error.
“It was just a simple mental error that cost us the game. Whoever has the least amount of mistakes throughout the course of the game will have the best chance of winning. It won’t happen again and we will be more prepared as we move on to our next game versus the Mustangs.”
This was a big loss for the Buffalo as it puts them at 3-5 and in 6th in the division and 10th overall in the league.
Oklahoma City will be playing at home against the Mustangs in a must win game to keep their playoff hopes alive.
