MEMPHIS, Tenn. – It was back and forth all game long but Memphis Soul pulled away with a 132.52 – 122.64 victory over the Oklahoma City Buffalo.
Memphis quarterback Kyler Murray came away with 44.30 points, his second highest of the season. Wide receiver Adam Thielen had 29.30 points, his highest this season, along with two touchdowns. Tight end Mark Andrews had 17.60 points with 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Oklahoma quarterback Gardner Minshew had 32.84 points featuring 301 pass yards. Running back Chris Carson had 19.90 points with 52 rush yards, two touchdowns, and 27 receiving yards. Wide receiver Allen Robinson recorded 90 receiving yards and 19.00 points.
Head Coach for the Soul, Phil Radcliffe, admitted to his team after the game how proud he was of them for this hard-earned win.
“This game proved how scrappy this team truly is. They fight and they fight hard. These guys didn’t give up and earned this victory today.”
This win brings the Soul to 3-2 on the season.
Next week Memphis Soul face off against the Oklahoma City Dinos (1-4) at Devon Energy Stadium.
