OKLAHOMA CITY- The Oklahoma City Buffalo had no issues in week four, rolling over the closely ranked Portland Beavers 194.02-134.62.

The Buffalo managed to keep a steady lead going into Sunday evening until quarterback Josh Allen  for the Beavers, burrowed his way in the end zone for a touchdown giving the Beavers a close 130.62-124.0 lead over Oklahoma City. Wide receiver Allen Robinson  quickly caught a 25 yard pass, putting the Buffalo up for good.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers  led the Buffalo this week with 51.58 points, throwing 27 passes on 33 attempts for 327 total yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Gardner Minshew also played a key role in this week’s victory, completing 27 of 40 passes for a season high of 351 yards and two touchdowns.

Portland’s offensive struggles came behind running back Frank Gore who ran for just 36 yards on 14 carries and tight end Travis Kelce who had a season low of three catches on six attempts for 70 yards. The two gave their team a combined total 14.60 points, compared to Buffalo’s running back Ezekiel Elliot who gave the Buffalo 19.50 points by himself on 125 total yards in 12 plays.

In the post game press conference, Rodgers gave reason to Oklahoma City’s recent success.

“It is a combination of two things, first, with last year’s Super Bowl loss, our team has a better understanding of what it takes to be a Superbowl contending team, and second, coach has made some really good changes that are helping us put more points on the board”.

Head coach Bailey Butler responded to Rodgers’ comment.

“After our struggles in the first two weeks, I moved Minshew to the flex position, where he has proven in the last two weeks to be a serious threat alongside Rodgers”.

The win bumped the Buffalo up to fifth place in the SCOM Fantasy League Classic, while Portland fell to seventh. Oklahoma City will head to Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium as they play the Memphis Soul.
