From seattlepi.com: Quarterback Russell Wilson looks for the end zone late in the first half last week, resulting in his third touchdown of the day.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Bandits took an early 78.88 point lead and never looked back in their dominant performance against the San Antonio Generals at the Alamodome, defeating the Generals 183.08 – 112.70.

The Bandits showcased their talents behind the arm of quarterback Russell Wilson who threw for 315 yards and five touchdowns, resulting in 52.80 points. Running back Dalvin Cook was the best option out of the back field for the Bandits, scoring a rushing touchdown in his third straight game while racking up 181 total yards this week for 25.90 points.

The Generals offense was led this week by quarterback Matthew Stafford who threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns to cap off a 31.50 point performance. The next leading scorer for San Antonio was quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who went 22 of 28 on pass attempts with two touchdowns for 30.60 points but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the high powered Bandit offense.

In her post-game press conference, Head Coach Cece Tyson had high praise for her team’s performance.

“Every week I challenge my guys to be 1-0 and to play every week like it’s the playoffs. This week they really took it to heart and made sure there were no doubts after the final whistle. If week can keep this momentum going we will be hard to stop.”

The victory brought the Bandits’ record to 3-0, making them one of the three undefeated teams left in the league.

San Jose (3-0) will return home to Earthquakes Stadium to face the Louisville Mustangs (0-3).
