OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha Steaks continue to struggle this season, falling to the No. 1 ranked team. The Steaks fell 171.76-144.72 to the Lincoln Logs Sunday night. With that loss, The Steaks are now 1-5 on the season and remain at the bottom of the leader board.

The return of wide receiver Tyreek Hill was a good one. After being injured week one, Hill made his debut back this weekend and made sure no one forgot about him during his absence. Hill rounded out his comeback scoring 26 points for The Steaks.

The only player to score more points than Hill this weekend was running back Nick Chubb, who has been The Steaks star player all season. Coming in just above Hill with 26.90 points, Chubb was the leading scorer for Omaha this weekend.

Although this season has been a rough one for The Steaks, this game was no easy matchup. Facing the No.1 team and the only undefeated team left in the Sports Comm Fantasy Classic League, The Steaks gave the Lincoln Logs all they could to try and pull an upset and take down the top team.

“We just have to keep learning and growing,” head coach Riley Wolk said. “We played the best team in the league and we put up a good fight, we’ll get back to work on Monday and try to take what we learned from the Logs into next week’s game.”

The Steaks fall to 1-5 on the season while the Logs remain undefeated at 6-0. The Steaks will be back on the gridiron Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, as they compete against the Salt Lake City Serpents for week sevens matchup.
