LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lincoln Logs continue their undefeated streak, as they took down the last-place Omaha Steaks in a close knit match winning 172-145. The Logs had a stellar performance out of Lamar Jackson, scoring 41 points for the team, his fourth game of the season scoring at least 40.
The rest of the team was no push over, as Aaron Rodgers, Julian Edelman and Christian McCaffrey scored 20 points or more on the week. Only one bench player out-performed a starter, with Mark Andrews outscoring Zach Ertz by six points.
The TE spot continues to be contested starting position. Zach Ertz, placed back in the starters this week, underperformed to his benched counter-part Mark Andrews. Rumors of a trade seem to be more likely than not, as the Logs look to solidify their RB2 or WR positions.
The Patriots defense continue their dominant performance again this week. This makes it now six consecutive weeks in a row that they have scored double digits. The position has shown to be a difference-maker for the season as they continue to show a sense of dominance coming out of the free agency.
The Lincoln Logs play against fifth place team Austin City Limits this weekend. The Limits are coming off their second straight loss on the season.
About Lincoln Logs
The Lincoln Logs are raising awareness for deforestation. One and a half acres of forest are cut down every second. Here, we believe we can make a difference and allow thousands of species not to lose their habitats due to agriculture.
