PORTLAND, Ore.- The Austin City Limits continue to search for an answer as they dropped their second straight game this past week. The final score was remotely close as Austin ended up losing to the Portland Purple Cobras 177.74-145.42. The game was close throughout, with Cobras quarterback Matt Ryan helping to pull his team away at the very end. City Limits Quarterback Russell Wilson had a strong overall game, contributing 295 yards and three total touchdowns. Unfortunately for Austin, the performance of the other quarterbacks for the two teams provided a major gap in effectiveness. While Cobras quarterback Jameis Winston did throw five interceptions, his 400 yards in passing brought more value than City Limits quarterback Jared Goff who threw for 78 total yards.

Despite the loss, Austin had some valuable contributors that should continue to play well going forward. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin had 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, and fellow receiver Julio Jones also contributed 108 receiving yards.

The Austin City Limits will look to snap the losing streak out of existence and tip their .500 record back into the winning percentage next week against the undefeated Lincoln Logs.
