LINCOLN, NE — The Lincoln Logs remain undefeated on the season, as they took down the third-place Salt Lake City Serpents in a relatively easy match winning 186-144.  The Logs continue to rally behind workhorse running-back Christian McCaffrey who scored 50 points, the fourth time in five weeks that he has surpassed 30 points.

The rest of the team did not let up, as four other players — Phillip Lindsay, Aaron Rodgers, Julian Edelman, and Lamar Jackson — scored 20 points or more on the week.  Only one bench player out-performed a starter, with Zach Ertz scoring seven more points than Mark Andrews.

The experiment with starting Andrews over Ertz has yet to pay off the way the team had initially hoped, as Ertz has either scored just as much or more than Andrews since the move was made. This makes the recent rumors of a trade sound more likely, as the Logs look to solidify their RB2 or WR positions.

The Patriots defense continue to perform well as the top ranked at its position.  This makes it now five weeks in a row that they have scored double digits.  The position has shown to be a difference-maker for the season, and has definitely made a case for free-agent pickup of the year.

The Lincoln Logs play against the lowest scoring team this weekend in the Omaha Steaks.  The match-up will feature both the first and last place team in the league.

About Lincoln Logs

The Lincoln Logs are raising awareness for deforestation. One and a half acres of forest are cut down every second. Here, we believe we can make a difference and allow thousands of species not to lose their habitats due to agriculture.
