Las Vegas Jokers fall to the Orlando Orcas

LAS VEGAS –Las Vegas Jokers took on the Orlando Orcas for week five. The Orcas came out on top with a 179-162 win, giving the Jokers a double losing streak. Wide Receiver, Michael Thomas, had a strong week for the Jokers giving the team a total of 42.20 points. Wide Receiver D.J. Chark also was a strong component this week finishing off with a total of 37.40 points for the Jokers.

 

Unfortunately this was a tough loss for Las Vegas as the Jokers now sit in ninth place. Thomas’s 42.20 points consisted of 182 yards receiving while Chark was close behind with 164. Patrick Mahomes had 24.54 points for the Jokers this week after 321 yards passing and 17 running. A lineman accidentally kicked Mahomes left ankle leaving him limping throughout most of Sunday’s game. Mahomes said that he will get treatment for his ankle before the start of week 6.

 

After week 5, the Orcas remain in fifth place. Wide Receiver, Amari Cooper, led the team with 44.60 points, which consisted of 226 yards receiving. Quarterback, Tom Brady, racked up 38.92 points for the Orcas. He completed 28 of 42 passes leaving him with 348 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Orcas play the Long Beach Ligers next week.

The Las Vegas Jokers are looking for a win in next weeks match up against the San Antonio Defenders.
