ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Orcas suffer a crushing defeat to the San Antonio Defenders 144.14-114.0 despite James Conner had his best game of the young year with 125 yards from scrimmage and one 1 touchdown.

The Orcas lost because of a few lackluster performances and a starting error. Tom Brady, who as expected to have a big game, scored only 0.7 points for the Orcas. Brady threw under 50% completions and threw one interception vs no touchdowns.

Jordan Howard had one of the best performances of the week by scoring 32 points but was on the bench due to poor performances in his other outings this season.

“We have to get back to work. We have to do a lot better” said quarterback Tom Brady after his rough outing.

The Orlando Orcas face the 1-3 Las Vegas Jokers next week, who have studs like Patrick Mahomes and Michael Thomas.

“If we want a shot at going to the playoffs, we have to get a good win streak going from here. We will regroup and see if we can find some good free agents this week” said coach Spencer Barras.
