After week three, the Steaks’ first away game will be against the Lincoln Logs. But just because we’re on the road doesn’t mean you have to be! The Outback will have a big screen set up outside of gate A, near the north end of the stadium. The first 100 fans to arrive will receive free Bloomin’ Onion coupons valid through the new year.
It’s Halloweekend at the Outback and each fan that is in attendance will receive a custom, spooky team tee shirt. There will be two matchups this week in our league but Omaha is taking a rest before the post season. The team will be holding a charity event to help end childhood hunger inside of the Outback. Tickets are $50 per person and that will include a dinner of your choice and drink voucher. There will be outside vendors there as well as a professional photo station where fans can meet up with their favorite players and take some pictures! All proceeds will benefit the charity.

Game Recaps
The San Antonio Defenders had the 0.64-point edge over the Omaha Steaks in the nail-biting week two matchup at the Alamo, defeating them 102.46-101.82. The Steaks had strong performances by running back Nick Chubb who rushed for 62 yards, ran in one TD and received for 36 yards, racking up 19.80 points. The next leading scorer for Omaha was wide receiver D.J. Moore. Moore had nine catches for 36 yards and compiled 17.90 points. Omaha’s offense had strong execution but it was matched by San Antonio. The Defenders’ Saquon Barkley ran for 107 yards, totaling one TD and caught three passes for 28 yards. Running back Austin Ekeler had himself a night, running for 66 yards, grabbed hold of six balls for 67 yards and scored one TD. In the post-game press conference, Head coach Catie Harper realized that the contest was out of their control. “There was not much we could have done differently. We prepared as hard as we could have and executed our plays well. It came down to the nitty-gritty moments and the Defenders capitalized. We’ll be back to practice tomorrow preparing for Vegas.” The loss brought the Steaks’ record to 0-2. Omaha will be on the road again next week and will look to face the Las Vegas Jokers at Bellagio Stadium.
