OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha Steaks lost in their first game of the season against the Orlando Orcas 141.20-136.86 at the Outback stadium. In this loss, wide receiver Tyreek Hill injured his sternoclavicular joint. Hill will be out four to six weeks.

Although we lost Hill Thursday night, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins couldn’t be stopped by the Orcas defense.

“Losing Hill really hurts us going forward the rest of the season,” head coach Riley Wolk said. “But we have other play makers on offense to carry us through the time Hill is out.”

With only a five-point deficit on Thursday, the Omaha Steaks look to keep improving throughout the season and get into the win column next week.

The Omaha Steaks will be back on the gridiron Sunday at 1 p.m. as they face the San Antonio defenders in San Antonio, Texas. The Omaha Steaks will host a watch party at the Outback on Sunday for the Steaks’ first away game.
