OKLAHOMA CITY LIGHTNING ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP WITH LOVE WITHOUT BORDERS FOR HOLIDAY SEASON RELIEF CAMPAIGN
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Oklahoma City Lightning officials announced earlier today that the organization will be partnering with local area non-profit Love Without Boundaries in efforts to provide holiday relief and assistance in the surrounding area this holiday season.
The partnership includes several fundraising events, a raffle at an Oklahoma City Lightning home game, and several other benefit events. In this partnership, the Lightning hope to use Love Without Boundaries resources and expertise to provide relief to families, specifically single mothers and children living in poverty.
“We think this is going to greatly impact people in the community,” said Oklahoma City Lightning General Manager Matthew Weyrich. “Love Without Boundaries is an incredible organization that makes a real difference in the community.”
Love Without Borders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission and vision is to provide hope and healing to orphaned and vulnerable children, and their underserved communities. LWB aims to provide loving and compassionate help to impoverished children.
