PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Predators will be hosting a speaker series to educate and spend quality time with the community. The organization, player, and coaches invite the people of Portland to join them at the City of Portland community center. This event will take place the morning of the Predators home game on January 11, 2020.

Spend the morning at the speaker series hosted by Portland Predators quarterback Drew Brews and running back Darren Sproles. Come listen to special key note speakers, Michael Oher, Terry Tautolo and Jennifer Lopez deliver motivating speeches about their successful life journeys.

“Our wish is to lend a helping hand to the vulnerable residents of Portland” pronounced the Predators head coach, Danny Price. “A change is coming, and it involves your help to make this change come true.”

In 2015, Mayor Charlie Hales declared a state of emergency for housing and homelessness. In 2016, Portland became the first west coast city to effectively end homelessness among veterans. Together, the Portland community can continue making leaps in helping the vulnerable residents of Portland, one hand at a time.
