LOUIS, M.O. – Starting October 25, 2019 the Archer’s will launch their campaign Tackle Poverty, Make a Difference, for community of St. Louis. The main goal of this campaign is to lower the poverty rates in the city of St. Louis and to give children a better opportunity in the classroom. The Archers plan to do this through numerous techniques and strategies including, raising funding from local business owners, people of the community and reaching out to the mayor for support.
The Archers will be sending numerous players including the high profile quarterback Aaron Rodgers to volunteer at local soup kitchens and homeless shelters in attempt to get the people of St. Louis to use the resources that are being provided. The players will also be giving out toys during the holidays for kids in need.
The campaign with host two banquets a year at the Dome at America’s Center with donors, local businesses, and partners who will get an opportunity to interact with the team and its personnel. The first banquet will take place in October and the second will take place the following April. The proceeds of this banquet will be used to give grants to people that are struggling financially.
