San Diego– The San Diego Jackrabbits will partner up with local organizations and partners that help the homeless through the week of Nov.11 which is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
There are 4,990 unsheltered homeless individuals in San Diego County in Jan. 2018. The San Diego adults believe homelessness is getting better according to 11 percent. About 60 percent say homelessness is getting worse
Quarterback Marcus Mariota said, “I’m proud to be a part of a team that is doing something impactful and meaningful to San Diego.”
When the Jackrabbit fans participate they will receive a free t-shirt. They can get involved by going to the Jackrabbits website and fill out a form and come to one of the events during the week.
