ST. LOUIS, M.O.–

As the football season winds down for teams around the NFL, the St. Louis Archers are fast at work on beginning work on their first-ever campaign for next season.

Effective this coming July 15, work will begin on their “Tackle Poverty, Make an Impact” campaign that will fight poverty and low education rates in the St. Louis area.

“We are a new to the area but look to make moves early and often in helping the great city of St. Louis,” said Archers President Ethan Pelino. “This city has a lot of potential and we feel that we can do our part to help where we can with our ‘Tackle Poverty, Make an Impact’ campaign.”

The focus of “Tackle Poverty, Make an Impact” is to give fans and local businesses the opportunity to donate food, toys, and help volunteer at local food banks and homeless shelters with help from local and corporate sponsors.

The Archers will also have players such as Aaron Rodgers and Stephen Gostkowski make appearances at the gatherings.

The Archers team will also be attending a twice-yearly banquet at the Dome at America’s Center in October with donors, partners, and local businesses who will get an opportunity to interact with team and its personnel.

The proceeds will be used to give grants to businesses that need them and help get the impoverished population on its feet again. A similar banquet will be held in March.
