LET’S GET THIS AUSTIN PETITION ROLLIN’!

AUSTIN, TX., Dec. 5, 2018 – The Austin Rockets have decided to create and post a petition that anyone can sign either online or at several physical locations, such as local elementary schools and high schools, senior living communities and at the Darrell K. Royal Stadium. The purpose in doing so is because the Austin Rockets want everyone to not only be aware of the issue with Austin’s infrastructure, but also because the Austin community has finally decided they want to end infrastructure in their city completely.

According to World Population, Austin is the 11th largest city in the United States and the fourth largest city in Texas. Austin Is the fastest growing city in the United States with a population growth rate of 3% and the infrastructure is not keeping up with the growing population.

“Infrastructure has been an issue in Austin for as long as I can remember,” stated the Austin Rocket’s general manager,” “We are trying to make the change so that the Austin community can gain their confidence back by creating an established city.”

“The team is really excited that the Austin community is willing to come out and sign the petition on why infrastructure needs to be finally changed,” said Matt Ryan, Austin Rockets  quarterback, “We are supporting the Austin community as much as we can and are trying to  create fundraisers to start raising money for the infrastructure issue.”

To be able to collect signatures in a timely manner, the Austin Rockets need to begin this process as soon as possible. They will have a potluck at the Darrell K. Royal Stadium where Austin Rocket fans can meet the players, who will be wearing shirts with our slogan on it, and also sign the petition.

“We really appreciate all of our fans being so supportive and willing to help out in making the Austin infrastructure better,” added Aaron Jones, Austin Rockets running back.
