Incident:
- While the Predators were in Honolulu for an away game, Price lost his credit card at a club.
- Upon further investigation it was found that Price was at strip club after the away game against the Honolulu Hammerheads.
- Former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III was hired to conduct an independent investigation on the issue.
- His card had charges for drinks, private dances, and tips adding up to hundreds of dollars and a charge for nearly $1000 for hotel room services.
- Ava Bourdreaux, 36 years old, mother of two, who has worked in the strip club for 15 years stated that Price had bought her drinks, tipped her, and asked her to go to the semi-private dance area.
- As the investigation proceeded, it was found that Price spent the night with the two other women.
- Price is married and has two kids.
- Assistant coach, Bryant Shula will coach the team for the rest of the year.
Decision:
- Portland Predators fired Head Coach Danny Price. This shows our fans, staff, and players how serious we are about upholding the high standard of the Portland Predators
- Appointed the offensive of coordinator, Bryant Shula, as the head coach for the time being
- Actively looking for a new head coach for next season
- Enforce the CLAW values, hang them up around the locker room, and make sure the management staff is on the same page with the CLAW values.
