Game Recap

After coming off of a tough loss to the undefeated Omaha Goldenrods (record), the San Diego Jack Rabbits knew they had to redeem themselves on October 23, 2018. They did just that. In this Week 7 match-up, QB, Marcus Mariota went 19-20 and had 237 passing yards. Wide receivers, Julian Edelman and Odell Beckham combined for 43.1 points, but Odell Beckham solidified the Jack Rabbits’ victory with his 29.20 points Monday night. Running back, Wendell Smallwood only had 32 rushing yards and 5 receiving yards, adding 5.7 points. Despite this, San Diego finished 130.78 and is now 4-3, at 8th place in the league.

Match-up Preview vs. Portland Predators (4-3)

  • With the same record, this match-up is critical in securing a playoff spot
  • The Jack Rabbits will need to decide on a starting Quarterback. So far, Marcus Mariota has been consistent every week with a season-total of 113.70, however, Derek Carr, while being less consistent, has had an explosive season with 187.92 points
  • The Jack Rabbits’ defense will need to develop a plan for Portland Predators’ QB Drew Brees and WR Jarvis Landry. They have combined for _ throughout the season – being a potential offensive threat next week
  • First time meeting in league history
