Game Recaps
The St. Louis Archers (0-7-0) played with a spirited effort, fighting a close battle with the Louisville Lions (5-2-0), but had their eighth loss in a row in as many games falling 102.38 to 84.54. QB Aaron Rodgers passed for 286 yards, completing 18 of 30 passing attempts with a single TD, gaining the Archers 22.94 points for the bout against Louisville. The Archers gained a short lead on two clutch plays by Rodgers towards the end of it all, but the Lions won on the strength of RB Alvin Kamara’s 17-yard run and a strong play by TE Rob Gronkowski staying inbounds for a 22-yard gain. With the loss, the Archers remain in the basement of the league standings as the Lions climb up to fifth place. The Archers will face the 5-3 Austin Rockets in Week Nine of the SCOM Fantasy Classic.
