Game Recap:
The Louisville Lions were back to winning last weekend defeating the St. Louis Archers (0-8) on the road by a score of 102.38 to 84.54. The Lions were led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and running back Alvin Kamara who contributed 28.88 and 28.10 points respectively. Kicker Greg Zuerlein returned to action after missing five games with a groin injury, he tallied seven points in the victory. With the win, the Lions improve to 6-2 on the season good enough for third place in the division.
Matchup Preview vs. Orlando Sharks (1-7):
- 1st time these two teams are meeting
- The Louisville Lions are projected to win the game on the road
- The quarterback’s projections are similar with Roethlisberger projected at 19.81 points and opposing QB Aaron Rogers projected at 19.95.
- The Louisville Lions have a big advantage at running back as their starters, Kamara and Isiah Crowell, are projected for a combined 30.21 points compared to just 8.61 combined points for the Archers starting tandem of Gio Bernard and Nyheim Hines.
- The matchup to watch will be between both teams best wide receivers. For the Lions, Golden Tate is projected at 15.41 points and for the Archers, Emmanuel Sanders is projected at 15.71
- The defenses will play a role in the outcome of this game as both are projected for under eight points. One will need to step up for their team.

- In preparation for the game, the Lions added the Jets Defense and dropped Terrance Williams (WR), who had recently been put on injured reserve
- Rob Gronkowski (TE) was listed as questionable with a back and an ankle injury but played
- Quincey Enunwa (WR) was ruled out with an ankle injury
- The University of Louisville is currently in its longest losing streak in football in a decade at five games and are coming off a home loss to Wake Forest.
